Getting started with the online TI-84 Plus CE
The calculator loads in the panel above. First visit may take a few seconds while the emulator boots — subsequent loads are usually faster.
- Wait for the boot screen — you should see the TI-84 Plus CE splash, then a blank home screen.
- Resize if needed — use the + and − buttons above the calculator to scale between 50% and 150%.
- Type or click — use the on-screen keypad or your keyboard for numbers and operators.
- Graph an equation — press Y=, enter
Y1=X^2, then press GRAPH. - Explore menus — MATH, STAT, and PRGM match the handheld CE layout.
- Reset — refresh the page if the emulator behaves unexpectedly.
What you can do
Same core feature set as a physical TI-84 Plus CE: function graphing, stat plots, matrix math, trigonometry, logarithms, and programming. Handy when you are on a laptop at the library and your calculator is in your locker.
Who this is for
Algebra through calculus students doing homework. Teachers demonstrating a graph on a projector. Anyone who already knows the TI-84 keypad and wants a second screen at home without buying another unit.
